Woodwind Extended Techniques

To do this research, I looked up books like instrumentation and orchestration by Alfred Blatter and the Essential Dictionary of Orchestration by Dave Black and Tom Geru. However, I found many extended techniques for the oboe on the internet. The website’s owner is Dr Sarah Hamilton, and the website is https://oboehelp.com/. On the website, there exists a section regarding techniques, including bisbigliando, double trills, triple tonguing, flutter tonguing, slap tonguing, extreme high register, glissandi and pitch bending, instrument-only breath and other sounds (without reed), micro or quarter-tones, muting, multiphonics, reed only, rheita (Rhaita) style, singing and playing, vibrato effects, harmonics and colour fingerings and circular breathing. For copyright reasons, I haven’t posted the descriptions on this blog. However, a word document has been given to the tutor.
